First off, how exciting you are going to propose to the love of your life!! Now when are you going to propose? If it is a few weeks to a couple of months away, where do you hide the ring? Here are a few of our recommendations as to where to stash the ring until the big reveal!
YOUR PLACE
If you live separately, that is easy, hide it at your place. Put in a room or closet they never go in and voila, easy peasy!IF YOU LIVE TOGETHER
A little bit tougher of a challenge but there is still an easy workaround. Place it in a pair of shoes you never wear or in a suit pocket that is still in the dry-cleaning bag. Or some of these options below.IS YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER SHORT?
It sounds like a weird question, but if they are shorter side, hide the engagement ring on a top shelf or in that bag on the top shelf that is just collecting dust. Are they really going to drag a ladder or tall chair to search every high shelf or cupboard in your place? Probably not.IS YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER NOT INTO YOUR HOBBIES?
Stash the ring in one of your sports bags or among your equipment. If you choose to place it in a sports bag, just make sure it is in a box or wrap it in bubble wrap to keep it protected! Or if you are into video games and they aren’t, store the ring behind your video game collection.DO YOU HAVE A LOT OF TOOLS?
Then hide the ring among all the tools you have lying around. Chances are they will not go digging in your toolbox to search for an engagement ring.IS YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER RESOURCEFUL?
If your significant other can be found reading true crime novels or loves watching crime shows, then maybe hiding the ring in your home isn’t the right place. Instead, find a trustworthy friend or family member to keep the ring safe in their home until you are about to pop the question! Or ask us to hold it in our safe for you until you're ready.Wherever you end up hiding the precious ring, make sure it is not near potentially harmful agents like food, water, or chemicals. Keep it in a dry, safe hiding spot!
