Natural vs. Lab grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are substantially less expensive than natural diamonds which may allow for the purchase of a larger stone. However, because of their unlimited supply, they offered next to zero long term value, and their prices continue to decline. As growing technology continues to improve, lab-grow diamond quality is nearing "perfection", so each stone manufactured becomes increasingly difficult to distinguish from one another.
On the other hand, natural diamonds carry a larger initial cost (we like to call this an initial investment) but they traditionally retain their value (or even increase) over time. Given their finite nature, each diamond is characteristically unique and one-of-a-kind.
